Mary Jo Wybierala was nominated by Jubilee Association and was awarded one of a number of Achievement Awards handed out by the Maryland Association of Community Services (MACS) on April 30, 2009 in Columbia, Maryland.

Mary Jo was nominated because of three accomplishments.  In February of 2009 Mary Jo won a gold metal in bowling at the Special Olympics.  Over the past couple of years by changing her diet and developing a regular exercise routine she has been able to control her diabetes. In the last year Mary Jo has purchased a cell phone and learned to e-mail and use the internet at home to stay in touch with friends and family.

All of us at Jubilee are very proud of Mary Jo’s accomplishments and pleased with the award that she received.
