We welcome Steve Silverman as Jubilee's 2010 Roastee.

Steven Silverman was appointed by Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett as Director of the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development in April 2009. Just prior to his appointment, Silverman served as Director for Aging, Healthcare and Special Projects in the Office of Maryland Attorney General. From January 2007 through July 2008, he also served in the Office of Maryland Attorney General as Staff Assistant Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division before being named Chief, Consumer Protection Division in April 2007.

He served as a member of the Montgomery County Council for two terms between 1998 and 2006, serving as its president twice.
