Jubilee 2010 Roast

roast 1

Tim Wiens, Mary Jo Schumacher, Steve Silverman

Jubilee's 7th Annual Roast was its biggest and most profitable ever. We had about 300 people in the room and total revenue of just over $100,000. The crowd included a wonderful mix of business, political and community leaders.

Honorable George Leventhal              James Soltesz and Carol Trawick

Jubilee is exceedingly grateful to Steve Silverman for being our roastee this year. Steve was everything we hope for in this role. He was tireless in helping us obtain sponsorships, he was generous with his time in helping us plan the event, and he demonstrated a wonderful sense of humor which is necessary to make an event like this fun.

Josh Kurtz and Blair Lee            Janice & Del Feldman & Hon. Luiz Simmons

For the second year in a row Blair Lee, CEO of Lee Development Group, was the Master of Ceremonies. The Roasters; Josh Kurtz of Roll Call, Delegate Luiz Simmons and County Councilman George Leventhal were funny and entertaining without being offensive. Most of us learned things about Steve that we never knew including some things that we maybe didn't want to know.

Mary Jo Wybierala

Mary Jo Wybierala gave a testimonial about her life at Jubilee that received a deserved standing ovation. The video produced by Michael Bryan told the Jubilee story in a compelling and heart touching way. Finally the tributes to Betty Mae Kramer, wife of Sid Kramer, who passed away several months ago and who had participated in last years roast was meaningful to all in attendance.
