Ten candidates ran for four open positions, and all ran strong campaigns. Congratulations to all of our candidates. Having a deep bench of strong leaders among the people we support is a win for everyone!
Voters streamed into the office all day to vote for their favorite candidates on November 2, and the winners were announced at an election watch party that evening. Being together at our outdoor watch party was a wonderful feeling for all! Our candidates were joined by friends, family members, Jubilee supporters and staff past and present. Special guest Maryland Delegate Jared Solomon joined the party and shared his congratulations to all the candidates.
Jubilee’s Client Council is a self-advocacy group, by and for the people we support. The president and vice president of Client Council sit on the Boards of the Jubilee Association and Foundation, and serve as the voice of all the people we support to Jubilee leadership.
