Jubilee’s Client Council leadership recently held a strategic planning retreat to set goals for the next two years. This retreat built on the discussion held by all at the March meeting of Client Council. Client Council set four goals. They are:
- Start holding in-person meetings again for the entire group.
- Revamp the annual Client Council learning retreat to increase the number of topics and learning support. The retreat, held at National Harbor, is open to every person supported by Jubilee.
- Develop a learning series called “Welcome to My World” to provide education on specific needs and interests of our community.
- Use social media for self-advocacy and host learning sessions on online safety skills.
