Exploring Jubilee’s Core Values

Our new monthly series exploring Jubilee’s core values is a great opportunity to connect and discuss issues important to us all. “It’s really meaningful to hear what each value means to people based on their own life experience. Most importantly it helps us understand each other and connect on a deeper level,” shared Melanie Moore, Jubilee’s Learning and Development Manager.

Earlier this summer we discussed respect and human dignity, and we’re sharing with you our key takeaways. Please use these points to start your own brainstorm or discussion!

Respect – is respect earned or given? Attendees were challenged to ask someone in their lives what respect means to them.

Human dignity – what does it mean when someone’s life of quality looks different from your own? Why it is important that we are each allowed to take risks?

Next up, we are hosting a discussion on ethical practices on August 23 from 2 PM to 3:30 and on August 25 from 10 AM to 11:30. The discussions are virtual and hosted on our zoom programming link.
