Ice Cream Social Creates Connections with Neighbors
What a treat seeing family, friends, neighbors, and volunteers come together this summer at an ice cream social hosted by Jubilee’s housing partner Rosaria Communities. The social was an opportunity for neighbors to meet David Geske and Brendan Malone, who live at Rosaria’s St. John’s house, and are supported by Jubilee.
Kaila Grant, Jubilee Program Manager said, “it was great seeing David and Brendan interact with the other families in the neighborhood over ice cream treats. These opportunities to create connections with neighbors benefit everyone. We’re thankful to have partners like Rosaria and friends like Margie Cuff and the Maryknights Women’s Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.”
