Welcome Jubilee’s First Chief of Staff

Familiar Face in a New Role

As Jubilee continues to grow to serve more people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we’re excited to share with you that Mary Renderos will be Jubilee’s first chief of staff. In this role, Mary will work closely with Steve Keener on focus areas of government relations, organizational policy, and executive communications to staff and key constituents. She will be an Executive Team member and oversee Jubilee’s advocacy efforts, housing program, outreach to underserved communities, and admissions.

Many of you may know Mary as our admissions manager, where she enhanced cross-team collaboration and customer service as we welcome people to Jubilee services. Mary also has worked closely with our Housing and Breaking Barriers teams, led a re-write of our Program Policies, and participated in Jubilee’s government advocacy and racial justice work. Before Jubilee, Mary worked for seven years in federal government advocacy at Voices for Progress, NETWORK Lobby, and Alliance for Justice. Mary holds a B.A. in Social Work from Loras College and a Master of Social Work from Catholic University.
